Fees

Counselling tends to be extremely expensive and inaccessible to those in need. I believe that everyone who reaches out for help should not be turned away due to their financial situation.

To keep counselling accessible to those in need, my fees are $10/hour (USD or CDN).

Please let me know if you cannot afford this and we will work together to find a solution. You will not be turned away.

ABOUT ME

I am a Certified Pastoral Counsellor and Psychotherapist. My goal is to provide counselling at low cost to those in need.

I am a Christian of Jewish background. My work as a teacher and a counsellor has been full of blessings as it has taken me into a huge community of both faiths. I respect my client’s beliefs and I offer counselling that corresponds to each individual’s beliefs.

I am also Deaf and Disabled. I am open and honest with people. You may ask me anything about my faith and my disabilities.

Being a minority myself, I understand how difficult it is for people considered to be a minority to access much needed counselling and assistance. It is my hope that I can help fill this void that has been created by the large majority population.

I am fluent in ASL and English. I conduct my counselling sessions online, using the client’s preferred language – ASL or English. My services are available to both Deaf and hearing individuals.

My experience living, studying and working in both communities (Deaf and hearing) as well as within the Disabled community allow me to have experience that is unique to the profession of Counselling.
